This new information field is set to 1 if the ID3v2 tag of the file contains any of the ID3v2 frames not supported by Mp3tag, e.g., PRIV or SYLT.Technical information field %_id3v2_unknown_frames%
It's still possible to see the values of the selected files if you prefer that, but an empty field on the Tag Panel now always offers the custom values (if set) from the drop-down list.
Or a list of country names or languages if you're storing those. It allows, e.g., for defining a list of composer names to ensure consistent naming.
You can now configure custom list values per field on the Tag Panel 12. I've just released Mp3tag v3.18 and wanted to outline some of the new features: Import tag information from local freedb databases. Import tag information from online databases like freedb or Amazon (also by text-search). Export tag information to user-defined formats (like html, rtf, csv, xml). Replace characters or words from tags and filenames. Rename files based on the tag information. Remove parts or the entire tag of multiple files. Write ID3v1.1-, ID3v2-, APEv2-Tags and Vorbis Comments to multiple files at once. The program supports online freedb database lookups for selected files, allowing you to automatically gather proper tag information for select files or CDs. It can rename files based on the tag information, replace characters or words from tags and filenames, import/export tag information, create playlists and more. Mp3tag is a powerful and yet easy-to-use tool to edit metadata (ID3, Vorbis Comments and APE) of common audio formats.
